Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a growing global health concern in children. Understanding its prevalence and associated factors in specific regions is crucial for targeted interventions. This report aims to provide an epidemiological overview of pediatric NAFLD, with a particular focus on studies conducted in Urmia, Iran, and to discuss potential regional influences on this condition.
