چکیده :
Background: Childhood obesity has emerged as a critical global health challenge, with its prevalence rising significantly over the past decade. It is a major risk factor for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and mental health disorders. Despite extensive research, effective prevention and management strategies remain elusive, necessitating a synthesis of the latest evidence to inform future interventions. Objective: This review aims to consolidate findings from academic literature published between 2020 and 2025 to explore advancements in addressing childhood obesity. The study focuses on three key areas: (1) the role of early-life interventions in reducing obesity risk, (2) the integration of technology and digital health tools in obesity management, and (3) the impact of socio-environmental factors on childhood obesity prevalence. Methods: A systematic review of peer-reviewed articles, policy documents, and clinical trials was conducted. Databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science were searched using keywords including "childhood obesity," "prevention," "interventions," and "policy." Studies were selected based on their relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field. Results: Early-life interventions, such as maternal health programs, breastfeeding promotion, and early nutrition education, have shown promise in mitigating obesity risk. Digital health tools, including mobile apps, wearable devices, and telemedicine, have enhanced patient engagement and disease management. However, disparities in access to these technologies persist. Socio-environmental factors, such as food insecurity, urban design, and air pollution, have been increasingly linked to obesity, highlighting the need for multi-sectoral approaches. Conclusion: This review underscores the importance of evidence-based policies, community-based interventions, and cross-sector collaborations in combating childhood obesity. Recommendations include strengthening health systems, leveraging media campaigns, and fostering partnerships between healthcare providers, policymakers, and researchers. By synthesizing the latest evidence, this study aims to inform strategies that promote long-term health equity and reduce the global burden of childhood obesity. This abstract is tailored for academic conferences, offering a concise yet comprehensive overview of the manuscript’s contributions to the field of pediatric health and obesity prevention. Keywords: Childhood obesity, early-life interventions, digital health, socio-environmental factors, health equity, policy development
